Aqua Divers Annual Club Aquarius Christmas Party

Date:  Sunday, December 10, 2006

Time:  2:00pm
For munchies and drinks (sodas served – no alcohol served) you can bring your own alcoholic beverages if you care too.

Time:  2:00pm to 3:00pm
Decorate the Christmas tree under water – bring your own dive gear – we supply the air - we lost several of our ornaments from last year, but hopefully we will have enough to decorate the tree.

Time: 4:00 pm until everyone is full
Dinner will be served – please do not bring any side dishes as you usually do - Steven & Joyce prepare the entire meal.  If you care to bring a non-member there will be a $5.00 charge for dinner.



Activities after dinner:

The Chinese raffle – everyone is to bring a homemade Christmas tree ornament to be raffled off.  Please bring it wrapped so no one can see the ornament until someone pays a dime for it.  Please bring dimes for playing this raffle.  The dime pot will be raffled as well.  Please be creative, it makes it more fun to scramble after the unique and interesting ornaments.  I would prefer nothing purchased from a store, but if you can’t make one have someone make it for you or with Christmas craft fairs coming up, buy one.

The annual Christmas roast will be delivered.  If you know of something someone has done, please don’t hesitate to share it at the roast.  Joyce is exempt from this roast.

The monthly raffle - for December – everyone please bring $5.00 each for this if you want to participate in the monthly raffle.  There will be three raffle prizes.
The yearly raffle – all tickets collected from this year’s monthly raffle will be entered into this yearly raffle for a prize valued at $250.00.

Christmas cookie exchange – everyone brings 3 dozen cookies and takes 3 dozen cookies home as a sampling from everyone else.  Christmas cookies please. You can bake them or buy them.  Before you leave for the evening please take a selection of cookies home with you.

Please RSVP either with Joyce or Steven by phone or e-mail.  That way I will have enough food for everyone.
If you have other plans for the day, please come whatever time you can make it.  There will be something going on all the time.  So don’t feel you can’t drop in.

This year it will be held in the swimming pool dome again; therefore, please come through the back yard gate to the pool house.

We will see you on Sunday, December 10, 2006 whatever time you can make it.  It’s fun – don’t miss it!!!
