Ask for more details on this option. All equipment used in the training program must have current CIP, BCP, hydro and VIP. During the open water class, the scuba system is included in the price of the class but personal equipment items are not. It is recommended, that students acquire their own equipment during the open water class, especially if further education is in the future. This allows the student to become more comfortable in the water and allows familiarity with equipment while under instructional training, which promotes safety.
