NEWS FROM THE APRIL MEETING:
 

The annual underwater Easter egg hunt took place on April 5th at Aqua Divers pool.  We had a great turn out for divers searching for eggs.  It was fun to watch them as they all had a different approach for gathering eggs.  Watching from the surface you could see their hands so close to eggs but oh so far away.  There was also a raw egg relay where they had to push an egg through the water column from one end of the pool and back with a chopstick.  The kids swam and swam all day long.   We had good eating too as usual.

The winners for the egg hunt were:

            Brody Paulo – Found the one and only egg with the alligator in it and he received a dry box

            Brody Paulo – Gathered up the most plastic carrots and he received a bottle of PSI500 defogger

            Leroy Pryor – Gathered up the most eggs and he received a bottle of salt away

            Al Griego – Gathered the most eggs with rubber bunnies inside and he received a divers scissors

            Al Griego -  He won the raw egg relay and he received gift certificate

Keith said Al won the relay because he was making too much turbulence with his fins and it was pushing Keiths egg around and out of control.

 
DIVE EVENTS:
 
April 18 & 19:  Abalone and scuba diving at Albion.  Call for your own reservations for Albion Campground 707-937-0606.

May 23 – 25: Monterey – make your own reservations

 
CERTIFICATIONS:
 
Congratulations to Gil Sandler – He was presented with his Dive Con Card, Diploma and Patch.
 

CONTINTUED EDUCATION:  APRIL 14 – 6:30PM

 
Anyone interested in taking the Cobra computer class please show up because we have quite a few people that have purchased them and need the course.  We also have people interested in Nitrox and Stress and Rescue.
