| In February we went to the IMAX theater and watched the 3D Under the Sea presentation. These critters came right out of the screen at you didn’t they Al. Those snakes were a little bit too close for comfort. We also went to the Ca. Academy of Sciences in San Francisco. That was an adventure to find the place; Gil & Al. It was opened in September and has been very well attended by the public. They have the aquarium in the lower level and it is not quite like any other aquarium I have been too. It was separated into zones of tropical and California sea life, very interesting though. It also had an African area of animals, penguins, the evolution life with the Galapagos and Madagascar, and a planetarium show. The tropical rainforest was closed for maintenance, but we were able to see through the windows as to what it looked like. We have some cancellations on the Channel Island boat trip. So, if anyone is interested in going I have four spots open. We have the warm water trip destination all squared away now. We will be going to Borneo from October 19 – 31, 2009. It will be a 12 day trip this year because of the distance and time of travel. We will be staying at the resort for eight nights and then upon departure we will be spending a day in Kuala Lumpur sightseeing. Stop by the shop and pick up a brochure.

| DIVE CLUB EVENTS: |
| Our next club event will be on April 5: This will be the underwater Easter egg hunt in the pool. It will start at 2:00pm and will be a potluck meal. Bring your own dive gear, we will supply the tanks. Also bring a bag to gather your eggs in. There will be prizes awarded so come have a good time. Another club event scheduled for April 18 & 19: Abalone diving and scuba diving at Albion campground. Make your own reservations for that weekend. Bring all of your own food, camping gear, scuba and free diving equipment. Gil, Al and Floyd are going to Manchester April 4th & 5th to participate in a free diving fishing and Abalone contest. If anyone is interested in participating or watching, get the information from Gil. Gil is also wanting to go check out a dive site by the name of Hell Hole in June or July. If you are interested in doing that talk to Gil to get particulars.

| CONTINUED EDUCATION: APRIL 14 – 6:30PM |
| Boat class: March 24 - 9:30am – at shop At the next con-ed orientation we will be scheduling at Stress & Rescue course. So, if you are interested please show up at 6:30pm on April 14th at the shop. We also have some people wanting to take a computer course. So, if you have recently purchased a computer or wish to retake the course. Please stop by on April 14 to sign up for that as well.

| MONTHLY PRESENTATION: |
| Gil and Cindy Sandler went to Hawaii in February for two weeks. So, he brought a DVD of their diving and we played that throughout dinner for everyones viewing pleasure. Then during his presentation we showed shots of the resort they stayed at, the volcano they visited. And he told us about his adventures while there. They took a helicopter ride which was awesome. |
